Dear God...

Well, equipment or not,
I'm just grateful he did make them
and gave us all this light
to brighten our days and nights.

Clown In The Moon by Dylan Thomas
My tears are like the quiet drift
Of petals from some magic rose;
And all my grief flows from the rift
Of unremembered skies and snows.

I think, that if I touched the earth,
It would crumble;
It is so sad and beautiful,
So tremulously like a dream.

After The Sun Comes Out by Emily Dickinson
After the Sun comes out
How it alters the World --
Waggons like messengers hurry about
Yesterday is old --

All men meet as if
Each foreclosed a news --
Fresh as a Cargo from Batize
Nature's qualities --

This reminds me of a lesson I gave to little children year ago at church about creation. I asked for a volunteer(s?) to come up & make something/anything out of what I had in the box. Imagine how perplexed they were when they opened up the box only to to find nothing inside of it ....the whole point being that only God can make something out of nothing! :)

Ah, that Dylan Thomas poem just opends my heart like an air balloon! I love that moment when a poem does that...

Love your Dear God! As I was coming to your site I was thinking, "WILL it be the same one???"
