This is what I did on the first day of spring:reading the Shell Seekers
and enjoying a little bunch of flowers that a pupil brought me.

I've got a copy of the book in English since October.
I think I've waited long enough, don't you think?
It's the first time I'm reading the original;
before that, I used to read the Greek translation.
I love, love, love this book!

Ooh you are making me want to read this book now! I am reading one by Peter Carey and the moment called Jack Maggs-all Victorian and mysterious! I enjoyed your inspiring words week last week-such fun.
I have read all Rosamund Pilcher's books but now I want to re-read the Shell Seekers! Hope you ill enjoy the original and well done you for being able to read it in both your own language and in English too! I couldn't read a book like that in any other language I am sure.

I am really going to have to read that book! Lovely flowers. Sweet student. We have those kinds of flowers growing all over here, which is so neat to me-- international unity through the FLOWERS!

Pretty spring flowers and how sweet for a student to bring them to you. I love the smell of hyacinths. I read that book many years ago and remember enjoying it.
