Spring!

This is what I did on the first day of spring:
reading the Shell Seekers
and enjoying a little bunch of flowers that a pupil brought me.
I read this book every summer
but this year I couldn't wait;
I've got a copy of the book in English since October.
I think I've waited long enough, don't you think?
It's the first time I'm reading the original;
before that, I used to read the Greek translation.

I love, love, love this book!

Happy spring!

Ooh you are making me want to read this book now! I am reading one by Peter Carey and the moment called Jack Maggs-all Victorian and mysterious! I enjoyed your inspiring words week last week-such fun.

That posy is lovely too and a real breath of spring.

Ooo I will look out for that book.

Thankyou for your note Yiota about the YamDaisy menu. Yes, just the names of the dishes is all I need! Soup, 2 mains and a fruit based dessert! Whenever you have time!
Bless you!

What an inspiring way to start a lovely season :)
The flowers are so beautiful and a book is always a great friend for a special occasion !

I wish you have a lovely season :D Here, in Brazil, we are having Autumn and the weather has changed completely from hot to windy and stormy days... But I confess I love Autumn !

Enjoy your Spring, dear friend :)

I am really going to have to read that book! Lovely flowers. Sweet student. We have those kinds of flowers growing all over here, which is so neat to me-- international unity through the FLOWERS!

Pretty spring flowers and how sweet for a student to bring them to you. I love the smell of hyacinths. I read that book many years ago and remember enjoying it.

Happy Spring.
