honesty

me: do you like my new haircut?
son: yes, it's nice.

a few hours later...

me: i don't think i like my hair like this.
son: it looks like a helmet.

Trust a child to tell the truth as he sees it! I remember when my daughter about the same age as you son is now telling me I looked like a witch in my black skirt and cardigan whilst I was thinking it looked quite smart!!

Our children can be our biggest supporters and our harshest critics....and out of the mouths of babes will always come their truth. As well, males often have no filter to say the truth with flowers around the words. Yiota, your son is a charmer....and your post made me smile! xoxo
