View of the sky from my kitchen window

I like looking at the different colours and shapes the sky takes;
it helps me forget I'm in a big city
and dream of open spaces.

What do you see when you look out of the window?

Take Care!

Beautiful sky...right now it's dark so I'm seeing nothing outside my window...but when I can see, it's lots of sky and trees. Houses, yes, but I'm in a suburban area so there's lots of nature around me.

So beautiful and mysterious sky ... This week I was in the backyard late at night when I look at the sky and ... wow !!! So many stars !! I called hubby and we spent some minutes just wondering that wonderful scene ...
Sometimes, we are too busy that we forget we are just a point in this huge Universe, we're part of it :)We should look at the sky more often ...

Have a beautiful day :D

Out my backyard facing windows I see cows and a barn. They both make me happy. I'm wishing you and yours the happiest, most delicious of Thanksgivings. Happy Thanksgiving.

oh i understand you! I hate big cities too, but the skies make it all!

And sometimes... well just sometimes I'm in total adequation with the city, it's quick moves, it's emptiness, it's hartless laws and its noises (never with the smell thow :P)

Hope you have those moments too!

Take care!

I live in a garden home, and don't have a whole lot of windows. But we had the brick walls in the small dining room knocked out and French doors put in a year ago. Now I can look out and at least see my garden! That made a world of difference. I know what you mean about living in the city. I have a new 2-story bank now right across the street. I'm having an 8 foot fence put in to try and buffer that sight! Won't do anything about the highway noise beyond the bank. But you do what you can!

Such a beautiful sky! Looking out here I see fields, fields and fields and the Monastery of Børglum.

Beautiful skies! The colours draw the eyes up and away from the buildings.
