Precious Moments

Sunday afternoon...
* daddy sleeping on the big sofa
* mommy drinking coffee,
reading about Elfrida's Christmas preparations (Winter Solstice)
* little one cuddled up with a blanket next to mommy,
watching The Polar Express...
Have a peaceful week!

aaah! The Polar Express is one I haven't seen yet but perhaps this year. So cosy.

Am trying to catch up with blogs after a few days in Paris away from a computer. I felt for you in your previous post about it being 6 months since your mother died - believe me it does get easier as time goes by and you will remember her without that awful sadness your probably still feel just now. It is now8 years since my Mum died and I still miss her but not with the same anguish I am glad to say.

Today's post sounds as if you are enjoying a little peaceful time as a family - enjoy it whilst you can and here's to a peaceful happy week!

Love

Jane

Sounds lovely, relaxing and cozy. I haven't seen "The Polar Express" but it was on tv last night -- I only caught bits and pieces. I need a chunk of time to just sit down and watch dvd after dvd with no interruptions!! : )

Great movie! Lots of the elementary schools here are having a "Polar Express" day this Friday where the kids get to wear their pajamas to school and watch the movie!

The wheels are turning on the bloggers Christmas party.... I think we can definitely plan this. We can plan the day, invite any and everyone to come...

And maybe come up with a list of things everyone has to share. Maybe, favorite Christmas song and artist's version of it, favorite tradition, memory, book, food item....

Have you come up with anything else? I was thinking about having the party this Friday? What do you say?
