seeking colour

We've been playing hide-and-seek with the sun today.
At a grey moment, I found myself craving for colour ~
I mean really noticing colour.
Here's what I captured:

Do you want to see where these details come from?

Here, take a look:

...and here's a snapshot of the hide-and-seek with the sun.

Have a great weekend!

edit to add: I see you like the quote I have in the frame a lot, so I must tell you that it's something I read on a blog and found to be me through and through; unfortunately, I don't remember where I saw it. sorry!

Beautiful, deep, saturated colour!!! It's warming my heart -- I have no sun to speak of today -- not even playing hide & seek...it's dull, grey, snowing on and off so I've got white and grey. Perhaps I'll travel around my house and find some colour too!! xo

I love that sign...."My home is clean enough to be healthy & messy enough to be happy." Therein lies the balance I personally crave :) LOVE IT!

Hello Yiota, You have a super colourful house with interesting pictures!
Thank you for your birthday wishes on my blog. I got three books from a big bookstore in Leeds!! The Dark is Rising sequence (5 books in a thick hardback) by Susan Cooper, Zero Moment by M.G. Harris which is the 3rd book in the series, and Crocodile Tears by one of my favourite authors - Anthony Horowitz (8th book in a series that I have been reading for a few years now). I have already read half of Zero Moment - yesterday - after returning from Leeds!!
Hope you have had a nice weekend.
Love Lucy xxx

Lovely colourful images. My favourite is the milk bottle with a ribbon tied around it, I often use jam jars with ribbons tied around them as vases

That's such a CUTE quote! It would fit well here, too!

I also love the ship at sea :)

I wanted to respond to your comment. YOU SHOULD GET YOUR MASTERS! It feels so good to know that I am going for it!

I totally understand what you mean about missing studying and needing something like to work toward.
