After watching the film 'You've Got Mail' yesterday, these words stayed with me:
sometimes i wonder about my life.
i lead a small life;
well, vabuable, but small.
and sometimes i wonder:
'do i do it because i like it,
or because i haven't been brave?'

Wonderful words that make you think.
I have had to be very brave to get to this 'small' life. Move to another country, learn a new language, and trust my heart. All of it the best I could have done! I love and adore my 'small' life!!

I think it all depends on what you mean by 'brave'. You must surely be very brave to bring a child into the world, to marry or otherwise share your life with someone, to teach and therefore be responsible for shaping so many others, to even go out the door and face the world every day ... we may not all be able to do great things but we call do our small bit with great courage.
Yiota...that is an excellent quote. I think I'd say for most of my life I did what I like because I liked what I do...and never felt I needed to be brave in the doing of it.
