Every leaf speaks bliss to me,
Fluttering from the autumn tree.

Fluttering from the autumn tree.
Emily Bronte
The morns are meeker than they were,
The nuts are getting brown;
The berry's cheek is plumper,
The rose is out of town.
The maple wears a gayer scarf,
The field a scarlet gown.
Lest I should be old-fashioned,
I'll put a trinket on.
Emily Dickinson
Nature XXVII, Autumn.
October gave a party;
The leaves by hundreds came -
The Chestnuts, Oaks, and Maples,
And leaves of every name.
The Sunshine spread a carpet,
And everything was grand,
Miss Weather led the dancing,
Professor Wind the band.
George Cooper
October's Party.
These are the leaves little one and I collected on our short walk last Saturday. My dad was telling us what tree they were from as we were admiring the colours and 'hunting' for more.
Today we've turned them into this autumn tree.

Love that tree! I am so glad that you are feeling able to appreciate the blessings that autumn brings now. It can seem a deepressing time of year with thoughts of winter to come but as with most things in life it also has its upside and I am pleased that you and your little one are enjoying that.

Great poems! Thanks for sharing ..& the tree craft ... clever & nicely done -- you can tell the little artist put some thought into it :) The rich colors are beautiful & in fact would look lovely in my living room. Enjoy
perfect poems. I always love a good poem... some blogs do "poetry friday"! Were you going for that or was it accidental?
I love the flow of this post. From classic poetry into your own little form of poetry-- your words and your creation. I LOVE the tree! You should frame it and replace a picture onthe wall with it each Fall :)
Beautiful poems !
But the most beautiful one was the " Mother and Son Autumn Tree " because it will last a thousand seasons ...
What beautiful photographs of the leaves and the leaf tree is creatively divine!! What a spectacular idea!!
I love the poems you chose and Ms. Bronte is one of my very favourites.
Wishing you a spectacular weekend as we finish this glorious month of October!
I love the poems you've selected, I hadn't come across any of them before.
Great tree!
