yesterday...

there was....
a birthday card for a friend made by little hands

a happy, cosy mess on the kitchen table

a little quilt and a tiny pillow made for a special bunny

a simple meal of spaghetti and tomato salad

a mum-son movie night ...in (a bit of furniture rearrangement made it more exciting)- Garfield was fun but I slept half way through, anyway

plans made over afternoon coffee;
we'll be leaving tomorrow morning
to go find a new (temporary) home here.

Happy Days!

Good luck with finding your new home and settling in to it. Hope that your husband is able to make regular visits as it is hard to be so far apart I'm sure. You seem to be enjoying some lovely mother and son times though - your son will remember these times together I am sure.

Thinking of you.

Jane

PS my pillowslips and towel are in use regularly and I think of you each time I see them and the little notecards come in so useful too!

That photo of the spaghetti and tomato salad has inspired me! I know what I'm having for dinner tonight...

Sorry I haven't visited in a while! Have been travelling. But am home again now and will be by more often.
