Have you read Victoria Hislop's The Island?
I've read it and was impressed by the power and determination of wounded souls.
So you can imagine how thrilled I was when I heard that a Greek channel has turned it into a TV series with the author's contribution.

Looks like you're set for Monday's now. I haven't come across this book myself.
I have it but have not read it yet! I do mean to however!

It's a lovely book. Very well-written.
I have read it, and loved it. I'm sure it'll make a great mini-series for TV.

Hello Yiota, I hope you enjoy The Island on Monday. I have been doing work placement this week at the school where my mum works. Helping out in class and with lunchtime/after school activities. I have not had much time to do crafting lately... the school work has been full-on, especially the art homework etc. Maybe in the October half term hols I will get to do something! Glad to hear that you are settling in at your new school and home.
