a new week

our weekend was mostly quiet,
especially sunday...
a walk by the river, baking cheese bread, napping ...
a most welcome change after a very challenging week;
little one has been misbehaving both at school and at home ~
working slowly through this; trying to be patient...
~~~~~
thursday is a national holiday~
there'll be a school parade with traditional costumes;
daddy will be here to see our boy wearing the exact same costume he wore almost 35 years ago!
~~~~~
hope you all have a lovely week!

Sounds like a lovely weekend.
Hope you'll take loads of pics to show us of the school parade.
Sometimes our little ones test us to the limit don't they? Hope you both mange to work your way through this unsettled time.

Your recipes sounds especially good as we head into late fall here. The roasted squash soup, and now the cheese bread! What a satisfying table...followed by a walk by the river. That sounds like a beautiful day.

Yes, please post pictures of the parade, and your little one!

Your weekend sounds like just what was needed after a challenging week. And some homemade cheese bread can't hurt either :).
I hope this week is less challenging. The parade sounds like a lot of fun. Hope to see some pictures.

I hope this week will be easier - but our children have to try our patience if they're to grow in independence. Thursday sounds like fun :-)

Every time I see pictures from the river in the city you live, I remember about Peter Rabbit tales :) Gorgeous nature!

Have an inspiring and blessed week in your beautiful place of the world,

Children can indeed be trying but I am sure you will weather this. Hope the parade goes off well and look forward to seeing the photos. You'll be glad to have your husband there no doubt and maybe little one will be easier with daddy around too. He must miss him.

We've been having some challenges here with our 5 1/2 year old, testing the limits constantly (and my patience with it)

Hope you have a lovely week. Enjoy the parade!

PS: I'll say hi to Cassie for you. x

Thanks for visiting and commenting on my post - I cannot claim the 10 commandments as my own but found them in a book many years ago. I would love to have you sit and chat over a cup of tea and cake - think the only way we could do that might be via Skype if you have it?!
