this week finds me:

~excited to be home for the Easter break

~ tired after all the packing + driving + unpacking

~ satisfied that I've done all the Easter shopping for the little munchkins in the family in just one morning

~ disappointed at the low quality of clothes in relation to their prices

~ grateful that, no matter how tough things are, no one in my family is hungry or cold.

~ worried about my husband's job (he's in construction where everything is quite dead or uncertain)

~ cheerful at the wonderful sight and smell of my freesias

~ sad as we're preparing for another holiday without my mum

~~~~~
How are you on this first day of the week?
You are feeling so many mixed emotions...I find spring is like that -- we have so much to look forward to and be grateful for, and at the same time our sadness or grief or worries can be so much more significant...all due to reawakening.
I'm tired today -- and the weather, cold and dull and not springlike at all doesn't help. But I'm "here" and I'm healthy and I'm eager to get started on some new projects.
Public holidays are often a mixture of joy, disappointment and regret. I hope the pleasures outweigh the sorrows.
Good luck to your husband for his job. Enjoy your week!
My week began with beautiful Autumn weather, and getting quite a lot of things done. Yay!
Hello Yiota, I am happy to have an Easter holiday, but aware that I should be studying all the time, happy to see the sunshine and work on the allotment for short periods here and there. Happy to hear you are spending the weekend with your husband - sad that you are missing your mum.
Happy Easter - Hope you have a relaxing break and a peaceful weekend.
