Carpe Diem!

"I went to the woods because I wanted to live deliberately. I wanted to live deep and suck out all the marrow of life. To put to rout all that was not life, and not when I had come to die, discover that I had not lived."

This poem from one of the films that's marked my being, Dead Poets' Society, sprang to mind completely out of the blue while I was drying my hair of all possible times!
I was obsessed with it (the poem) when I first saw the film, had written it on a piece of paper and put it on my desk to read every day. It helped me through some tough times but I haven't thought about it for a while.

Carpe Diem my friends (and myself)!
Seize the Day.

I like this poem and I enjoyed that film. It is great to have words that comfort you.
I added the coffee after the text-I screwed up the paper too then carefully ironed it. I used to do that sort of thing at school to make treasure maps-that and scorch the edges of the paper which I loved doing! I sent your book off today-hope it gets to you soon!

Carpe diem is a favourite saying of my husbands. Dead Poet's Society is a favourite film of his.
I've put a link from my blog to yours for introducing me to the Pink Thoughts Thursday.

Ahhh...Thank you so much for your concern, Yiota...It's nice to be missed:).....Alas, I have become consumed with school (my students almost become my children), husband, and life in general. I'm also having drama practice after school and on Saturdays now with my high school drama students. They will perform on November 5.
i just haven't had the time or energy to be creative anywhere except at school...so that means my blog has suffered:(
