Pink Thoughts

Lovely Christina from Soul Aperture has had this idea of supporting the Breast Cancer Awareness Month by posting something pink each Thursday of October. I only found out on Sunday so I missed the first one but I'm participating from now on.
Since prevention is much much better than cure and in this particular case a life-saver, make sure you do what you should!
This rose-bush was planted by my mum years ago. It reminds me of her.
Take Care!

What a lovely idea. Yesterday was the anniversary of the death of my good friend from breast cancer so I will go over to my blog and post something pink in her memory.

So soory that you lost your Mum too - it is never easy losing a mother I know as I lost mine 8 years ago and still miss her.

Lovely thought. What a lovely rose too.
Sorry that you've lost your Mum. They leave such a gap in our lives.

Yes~ prevention! I send thoughts and prayers to your mother, and all the women who have been touched by this.
You are beautiful, friend.

What a great movement! I ran a half marathon last year for breast cancer. I haven't done anything this year. Hmmm. I want to do something! They've dyed a fountain here in Charlotte PINK in honor ! Maybe I will take a photo and share it next thursday! Thanks for the heads up...

Beautiful pink roses and I'm so glad they remind you of your mother. I plant a rose bush every year that I count my remission from breast cancer...I have 4 so far -- and counting!!

Thanks for sharing...I'll have to find something pink to share too ... That rose of yours is perfect ... but pink is hard to find in our neck of the woods right now...plenty of orange, yellow, red out there....but pink will be a bit of a challenge. I'll see what I can find :)
