as promised...

... I took little one to the river yesterday.
It's less than a five-minute walk from home
and we enjoyed the sunshine.
He discovered that when you throw pebbles in the water, little circles appear, which become bigger and bigger and then disappear.
Isn't learning in nature so much more fun than in a classroom?

Happy Autumn!

Autumn days are often so peaceful and beautiful. How lovely to be so near such beauty.

What a lovely area you live in. Little one will remember these lessons so much more than the sort taught in the classroom too. Happy Autumn to you too.

What an incredible blessing to be so near to such abundant and beautiful nature. Glorious! I'm jealous ;) This post reminds me of a book that I think that you might like. It's called Lessons at Blackberry Inn: Adventures with the Gentle Art of Learning. It's a comfort read all the way. I blogged about it sometime back--if you are interested in knowing more about it. Blessings to you Yiota. Good to see that you're settling into your new home.

All this as close as a five minute walk? You are truly blessed, my friend. Truly blessed.
