We made this cake yesterday
to take to school today.
When we finished it last night, he said:
'mum, you're amazing!' and hugged me really tight!

Happy birthday little man! It's those sort of words which you will remember for the rest of your life even when he is an obnoxious teenager!! Treasure your son whilst he is little and store up these memories for later when he has flown the nest.

There isn't anything in this world quite like one of our children giving us a tremendous hug and telling us we're amazing. You must have been floating when he did that...and I'm sending happy birthday wishes for his 6th -- that's an amazing age!
