on Monday ...

...we decided to go to a nearby town with my husband, who had some work to do there.
While daddy was about his business, we were having fun at the park.

On our way back to the city, my husband had the idea of stopping at a seaside resort for lunch.
"Oh, goodie! I happen to have a set of clothes for little one, cause there's no way he'll stay dry. Just stop at a supermarket so I can buy him a towel and some sunscreen."
Done!

Little Mr Hard-To-Please said it was an awesome day!
Who am I to disagree?

Have a fabulous Wednesday!
Lots of ironing planned for me today. But not before spending an hour or so with my book and my morning coffee.

I would of loved to have dipped my feet in the sea, too! Kalo kalokeri! Are you reading anything good? I just received "The help", but right now I'm reading "The Provence cure for the brokenhearted".

How lovely - a paddle in the sea under the warm sunshine and a little one to enjoy it with too! So glad you are having such a lovely time this summer.

It seems you had a lovely day!
I strongly believe that having no plans beforehand and going with the flow is the best!

That looked like a fun day Yiota! Hope the ironing doesn't take too long to do. I am off to the allotment now to do some weeding as we have had lots of rain!

Oh those fun days when children are little and are happy to slide and splash and you feel joy just watching them! Being spontaneous makes it all that much more enjoyable too and when a child says "it's an awesome day" indeed, how can you disagree!

So nice to see you in the photos Yiota and that you put your toes in the water too!! xo
