Happy Monday - Have a Wonderful Week!

Children's Letters To God compiled by Eric Marshall and Stuart Hample, 1975
(here: Greek edition; publisher:Thymari )
I came across this little treasure while I was looking for a book on children's painting in my bookcase. I read through it from time to time and it always amazes me the way children think. Their letters to God embody all the simplicity and truthfullness of their souls. Now that my son is 4 and a half I often stand speechless by what he says, taking a moment to take it all in. My God, how pure and honest kids are!
I highly recommend this book. It's funny and sweet; great company with your Monday morning coffee.

Sweet isn't it - what comes outa the mouths of babes. This brought to mind a verse in the Bible (NIV):

He called a little child and had him stand among them. And he said: "I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 18:2-4

I'm glad you liked them. I'm thinking of posting one every day or so.

you SHOULD post one every day! I really enjoyed that! It reminds me of a coffee cup a friend gave me in college that I still drink from whenever it's clean. It has a little boy on it and says, "Dear God, I have A LOT of BIG decisions to make today. Can we talk?"
