today

finding comfort in the little things
seems like the wise thing to do...

baking
having coffee
smelling the roses
smiling at the sight of something made for you with love
reading a book you've read many times before

hope you're having a wonderful sunday

Sounds a lovely way to spend a quiet Sunday:-)

Glad you are feeling able to find comfort in the little things (and especially pleased that my little piece of stitchery - it is mine isn't it? - is counted as worthy of giving such comfort!

Our Sunday is a bit mixed as poor Thomas had to go to see the vet this morning - he may have eaten something bad as he is not a well pussy at all and I hate to see him just lying there not interested in anything! Hopefully my Monday will be better!

What a pleasant way to spend a Sunday.....and that is a beautiful cake! It looks delicious :)
It's been a quiet day here, too. Just getting a few things done before the workweek starts.
Best wishes!

Your table vignette looks so inviting..I can see myself sitting there with you, sharing a coffee and something sweet, chatting as the mood takes us and resting, relaxing and just being at peace. I hope that is how your day played out for you! xo
